Most churches desire for their ministry to have an impact rather than to be a ministry that has been impacted. Considering safety (risk management) as an important part of ministry can better insure on and off site activities intended for fun stay that way.\nBecky will review some actual claim examples\, primarily in children and youth ministries\, to learn how to minimize the risk of a church event having a devastating result.\nShe will also explore some of the legal and liability issues facing churches today and specific steps in planning your church can implement to reduce risks and safeguard the faithful.
